Theodore Omtzigt is the founder and CEO of Stillwater Supercomputing and the inventor of the Knowledge Processing Unit, or KPU, a high-performance distributed data flow machine for real-time analytics. He is acting VP of HPC On-Demand services at Information Super Grid Technology, a Chinese cloud vendor that is building and operating a global grid of supercomputing centers.  He received his Ph.D. in 1992 from Yale University with original research on silicon compilation of multi-chip parallel machines.
